The “Brown Bag” ministry is a bi –monthly outreach to the homeless in downtown Norfolk, VA. This ministry has feed nearly 4,000 homeless since its inception in late 2005. Along with the brown bag lunch, the homeless we serve also receive prayer and the gospel. As cold weather approaches other items are distributed such as gloves, socks and blankets. Over these 3 years we have had opportunity to extend our service to some of the homeless to people and families to include helping them find jobs and obtain housing.
